Write Pass Your Doubts
Let yourself just write!
We want to pick up a pen or we open up our laptop/desktop/tablet/IPad and write from beginning to end. But when we don’t we then assume the idea we had isn’t any good. That just isn’t so. Keep going! Just keep going! Even if you are writing nonsense just write. Sometimes your mind is cluttered with ideas that invade your ability to tell your story. Ideas can get jealous of each other.
If writing pass your doubts doesn’t work you can try writing scenes. Create a scene that you can put your character in that builds their personality. For me, it strengthens my vision of them. It allows me to see them clearer. Adding layers to them makes their presence stronger.
You are still a writer, creative mind, and a storyteller. Never give up on your passion.
